nervous............

My chairman choose to present my written in writing class....So, I must prepare it for monday.
I am so nervous to face it. I am afraid if I cannot do that. Actually I am not good at presentation, but I want to try to do the best............

back to my hometown

Tomorrow is holiday, so I can visit my parents in my hometown.I am so happy.............
I have been book a travel for today since 2 days ago. So, I just waiting for travel.......
I miss my family so much.....

Jungle Trek to Lake Maninjau
Lake Maninjau is a gorgeous blue lake close to Bukittinggi, and well worth a visit. Anyone who has done this tour has loved it, and when you do it, you will share the same opinion I'm sure! Its a mix of culture as well as nature with a nice walk into the jungle where its quiet, spending some time up close to nature. The highlight of this trek is the night at Ana's homestay. Its a simple dwelling in the jungle, that is economical and eco-friendly, made only from wood. A fresh water stream in the mandi (bathroom) area is the perfect way to get clean! There is no electricity so dont forget your torch! You are well looked after by the host family who cook you a delicious local meal, well deserved after a days trek! Grab a Bintang beer and lye in a hammock whilst watching the sun set over beautiful lake Maninjau and the surrounding jungle. Nothing could be more peaceful and relaxing. In the evening, its a great time to chill out and enjoy your own company, or get to know your fellow trekkers by playing some good old fashioned cards or board games! A refreshing swim in the lake is rewarded to you when you finally reach Lake Maninjau. Jungle Trek to Maninjau Lake For 2 days 1 night. Day 1. Leave Bukittinggi at 9am for Panorama Baru Village by bus for about half and hour, then we start trekking to Sawah Dangka village, where we walk on the pathway which is surrounded by jungle, hills, rice fields, and rivers. Sometimes we might see monkeys, snakes, many kinds of butterflies and birds. When we arrive at Sawah Dangka you have a chance to see and learn how the local people live, in a simple, traditional style. We stop near the river to have lunch and wander into the jungle while enjoying the beautiful landscape. After lunch we trek to Lawang Top. We will pass the Matur Village to see the traditional houses that are still intact, and see how the local people make sugar cane using traditional methods. From Lawang Top we descend down, trekking to ANAS HOME STAY in the jungle and enjoy the stunning views of Lake Maninjau from there where we stay overnight. (Meals: Lunch & Dinner). Day 2. JAM GADANG IN BUKITTINGGI

Jam Gadang (“Jam” mean Clock, and “Gadang” mean “Massive” in the Minangkabau language) is a clock tower situated in the heart of Bukittinggi, West Sumatra, Indonesia. How phenomenal of Jam Gadang for domestic and foreign tourists, making it is as a landmark of Bukittinggi and also be one of  West Sumatra icons.

Jam Gadang was built in 1926 by architects Yazid Sutan Dental Ameh. This clock was a gift from the Dutch Queen to Rook Maker- the Bukittinggi Controleur. Jam Gadang built without iron supports and mortar, but with a mixture of lime, egg whites, and white sand. The clock’s diameter is 80 centimeters, the base’s dimension is 13 metres in length and 4 meters wide, and it stands 26 meters tall.

The  clocktower has undergone several changes in the form at the top. During the Dutch colonial period, the heyday of Jam Gadang installed with rooster statue. However, when the Dutch were defeated and change by Japanese colonialists, the top replaced with pagoda. Furthermore when Indonesian independence period, the top of Jam Gadang replaced with traditional Bagonjong roof – Minangkabau traditional house.

Construction of Jam Gadang spend cost of 3,000 Guilder. One unique feature of Jam Gadang is that it uses the “IIII” for the number 4 instead of its traditional Roman Number “IV”.

my hometown

MANINJAU

            Maninjau is my hometown. It is located in Agam, not far from Lubuk Basung. It is a beautiful village. The most familiar thing in Maninjau is Lake Maninjau. Everyone who comes to Maninjau always want to see it as their main destiny. A lot of people just know that Maninjau only have a lake as the tourism place, but in fact Maninjau have another tourism. Maninjau have several waterfall that call Sarasah. There are three Sarasah in Maninjau, but the people only allow to visit 2 Sarasah because the other Sarasah is very dangerous.

            Based on the tourism, Maninjau have many delicious food if you come to Maninjau you can eat rinuak. It is such kind of very small fish. The people who visit Maninjau always buy it. Another food that you can taste is pensi. I do not know how to describe it, but it look like very small tiram. So, if you want to go on vacation Maninjau can be one of the interesting place to visit.

I have two classes today. Morsyn class and ITL class. Morsyn class is the most complecated class in this semester. It is difficult to me to understand it. Today is the same with another day, we have to present a topic in front of the class. It is changed for group nine to present it. The topic is quite difficult, but I can understand it. I do not know why, but it is maybe I am in a good mod now.
The ITL class is more relax than the previous class. It is the class where the student express their feeling. This day the lecturer give the result of mid-test. I do not get a good mark. but I think it is enough fr me.

Today,  follow SEA class. This day I must be a sller that sell thing based on the stoty that i have tell before. So, I decide to sell the stair. So, I try to promote the stair and connect it with my story before. First, I feel so nervous to do it, but I try to relax and do it even I still feel nervous. The performance is like this........
Today I will sell this stair to you. This stair made from metal ang it is so strong. It is about two meters long. The special thing from this stair is you can make it longer or shorter base on your need. You can do it just by press the button beside.
That about my experience in story telling class. Finally, I can do it.................

Today is same with yesterday. I will face the mid exam again. Reading 3 exam is very difficult. The lecturer gave me 2 text that very difficult to understand. The text was so long. So that  I must read the text 3 times until I can get the idea. After read the text I answer the questions. There are 8 question in first text and 5 question in the second text. The question was so difficult to answer. So I must keep attention and concentration to answer it.
Until finally I can answer the question in 75 minutes. I feel so relieve..............

today, I have ITL mid test.
there are two question but it is so difficult. I must to make e poetry. It is difficult to me to make it. But I try to make it. the poetry is about the girl that leave by her boyfriend but she still love him. Finally I success to make a poetry that consist of four stanza.

THE USELESS LAPTOP

It is a first day I wrote after one week. I had a problem with my laptop. The keyboard, especially SHIFT does not work properly, because of that I cannot posted anything here for a week. I must brought it to the service center. It was spent 5 days to repair it. After 5 days I take my laptop from the service, but unfortunately I can not use it yet. All program was lost, so i must reinstall my aptop again.
Now, I can use my laptop as usual. I can posting my writing in blog again.

My Lovely Cat

I have a cat in my home. It names is kitty. I gave it its name because I like hello kitty. It is a male cat. It is a cute cat with a soft yellow fur. It has soft blue eyes. It has a long tail. It is a funny cat. It always shake its tail when it feel happy or ask for food. I have a bad experience with this one. One day I play with my cat. I shake a ribbon to it, so it try to catch the ribbon. It is so funny when it try to catch the ribbon. Suddenly it jump highly and catch my hand. It bit my hand. It is so hurt me.

Eventhough sometimes it is naughty, but I still love my cat. One day it went to my house for a couple of week. I feel so sad ang do not have something that can I play. After a couple of week it come back to my house and guess what? It bring a female cat with four kitten. It is so bad because the kittens often pup and pie in the floor and my mother ask me to clean it up. Yuck.........!!!!

my activity today

I followed attitude class this morning. Ms. Kurnianingsih told about many attitude and rule in campus especially in English department. This class is very interesting, because from this class I know how to behave to lecturer and many others. Ms. Kurnianingsih told about many fault that the student do to the lecturer. She told that the student often send not polite messages to the lecturer and didn't speak politely to the lecturer. When the student come to the office to consult or to ask for signature they often not polite. The other thing that she said is about the clothes that the student wearing is not polite.
From this class I become more understand about the good attitude and the rule of this department. So, for next the English department students can have good behave.

A LONG VISIT

I love this movie. Actually this movie is about Mother. How mother love her child , want to do anything for her child and give everything to her child. In story, firstly the main character did not like her mother she feel ashamed with her mother. She forbids her mother come to her school because she did not want if the people know her mother like this. Even though her child did not like her, the mother did not mad at her child. She still love her child she give everything to her child. She save a half of her money to her child education.  I really sad when the girl want to marry with one man, but the man’s mother did not like her. Then, at the night her mother cone to the man house and ask to the man’s mother to permit her son to marry with her child. She did not feel ashamed to do it. At the end of this story, the main character was die cause of pancreas cancer.

This movie give me many thing that related to mother’s sacrifices. From this movie I know that mother is the very special person in my life. The child cannot growing without the mother’s love. She is a kind person, even her child hurt her heart she still love her child. The true love in this earth is the mother’s love to her child that cannot separate because of anything.

Food for Thought?

A boat docked in a tiny Mexican village. An American tourist, Tony, complimented the Mexican fisherman on the quality of his fish and asked how long it took him to catch them. 'Not very long,' answered Gener, the fisherman.

"Then why didn't you stay out longer and catch more?" asked Tony. Gener explained that his small catch was sufficient to meet his needs and those of his family.

"Tony inquired, 'But what do you do with the rest of your time?"

"I sleep late, fish a little, play with my children, and take a siesta with my wife. In the evenings I go into the village to see my friends, dance a little, play the guitar, and sing a few songs. I have a full life."

Tony interrupted rather rudely, "I have a Business Studies degree and I can help you. You should start by fishing longer every day. You can sell the extra fish you catch. With the revenue, you can buy a bigger boat, catch even more fish. With the extra money you will soon be able to buy a second one and a third one and so on until you have an entire fleet of trawlers. Instead of selling your fish to a middleman, you can negotiate directly with the processing plants and maybe even open your own plant. You can then leave this little village and move to Cancun, Acapulco, Los Angeles, or even New York City. From there you can direct your huge enterprise.

"How long would that take?" wondered Gener, the Mexican fisherman.  "Twenty, perhaps twenty-five years," replied Tony condescendingly.  "And after that?" Gener asked.

"After that you'll be able to retire, live in a tiny village near the sea, sleep late, fish a little, play with your grandchildren, take a siesta with your wife, and spend your evenings in the village, dancing, playing the guitar, and singing with your friends."

I have one sister. She is three years old. I love her so much. She is cute and funny baby but sometimes she is annoying. She likes to disturb me. When I watching television sometimes she turn off the television. My brother always mad of her because she like to hide his book or something else.One day, when my brother want to went to school, he lost his shoes. He afraid if he late to went to school. He ask to my sister but she said she did not know. After 15 minutes he found his shoes in the toys box of my sister. My sister smile at him and then run to my mother.
Actually my sister cannot speak fluently yet, but she is talkative. Sometimes I felt confused and hard to understand what does she said. There is a funny thing that happened if she want to ask a spoon to me. She said she watt "dok" (spoon=sendok). She brought me into the kitchen. I felt confused and give her everything. I gave her plate, glass. fork and the other, but she did not want it and she was cry. Finally, I carried her and she pointed at the spoon and took it by herself. I told it to my mother and father, they laugh hear about that.

Friday is terrible day for me. I went to my hometown with my cousin. We went by using motorcycle, but about one hour later rain is come. So we must wait until the rain stop. We wait until a half hour, then we continue the trip. After we arrive at Lubuk Alung our leaky was tire. So, we must find a place to get the tire. After about ten meters we walk, we finally found a place to get the tire. We waited fifteen minutes to finish the tire patched. After that we continue the journey.  
After one hour of rain back down and we re looking for shelter. After the rain stopped we continued our journey back. After a half hour drive us back tire punctured. Fortunately the edge where the tire was not far away. Initially only the rear tire that is leaking, but then after a rear tire patched completed we discovered that the front tire is also leaking. Ultimately we have to wait for half an hour. This trip really annoying. Consequently we got home around six.
